- Festival Questions
-
Will Spark pay for my travel and lodging to attend the festival?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. However we would be happy to write
you a letter of invitation if that will help you secure funding. And If you are
in a case of extreme financial hardship, please email us at
sparkfst@umn.edu to
explain your situation and we will see if any alternative solutions may be possible.
- What is the conference attendence/admission fee for people not involved in the festival,
as well as composers and arts presenting at the festival?
There is no admission fee for the Spark festival for audience members, presenters, performers, or
participators. Some special events may have a small ticket price for the general public, but most
concerts are free to everyone. This is due to generous funding from the University of Minnesota
College of Liberal Arts, School of Music, and other programs inside and out of the University.
